Awesome place & Ms. Christi is wonderful hostess. Can't wait to go back.
This was my first time here, stayed the whole weekend, it was amazing, will definitely be back. The owner was extremely helpful and a joy to be around. The atmosphere is relaxed, the surroundings are relaxing. Great access to the river.
Our family when to adamson fish camp .It was a very nice place to enjoy quality family time and the guys enjoyed going fishing .It is very quiet and peaceful place to get away from home. And we are planning to go again soon.
The location was beautiful but that doesn't make up for the rudeness of the owner. I have never, ever had someone treat me with such disregard. We will not be returning. Also, to clarify : we were meeting up with relatives to spend my husband's only night off camping. She kept telling me how wonderful this place was and that the people that ran it were nice... Etc. Upon pulling up into the driveway, the woman that owns it literally stepped out in front of our moving vehicle, and commenced interrogation. She asked if we were camping, where we were going, who we were meeting. That was fine, but when we answered her she told us that we 'were to pay her, because that's how this works' in a very rude manner. I told her that my relative took care of all that and she said to 'send her to the office to straighten this out.' So my relative and I walked down to the office, and the woman stated that the $20 for the campsite was not enough. It was to be $20 per tent. Now, mind you that in the three years that my family has been frequenting this place that had never been an issue. The woman acted as if my family was deliberately trying to screw her over. After we paid more, the woman changed her tone and almost seemed welcoming for a moment. Until about an hour later when she began verbally attacking the children for using the the laundry facilities. Shortly before that, we were told by my 16 year old niece that the woman snapped at her and her friend for walking around. Every time any of us had to use the restroom, she was lurking around giving everyone dirty looks. So we left before noon the next morning. We will not be going back or recommending this place to anyone.
We absolutely love this place for relaxing peaceful and just the beauty of nature. We call this home away from home we are a family of 4 that already live in the country but we enjoy fishing and boating. My family has gotten to be close to the Adamson's that we are made to feel at home. We cook fish make friends but most of all we make lasting memories. It's a family atmosphere when you go there. There are some house rules that apply everywhere keep hour trash cleaned up keep the bathrooms neatly as you find it at home and most of all keep cigarette buttes off the ground. Always leave it better for the next people coming in. This is how it helps to keep places like this open to the public. Thank you Ms Christy for the hospitality and the love we feel while we're there. Thank you for opening your HOME up to us and always making us feel welcomed. Ryan and Cory thank you for sharing your momma with us we so enjoy her company. We look forward to many more times there with y'all. Hope many more people will find this spot and find relaxation there too.
